Tour 1:Berlin City Tour

This is a tour to introduce Germany’s most colourful city to you.

Berlin was the residence of the Hohenzollern dynasty, the capital of the German Empire and also of the first democratic state in Germany, the Weimar Republik. It was the capital of the Third Reich. After 1945 the former political centre of the Naziterror was occupied by the allies of the 2nd World War and split into four sectors. There was no place in the world, where the results of Cold War policy were as clearly visible as in this city.

From 1961 till 1989 East and West were divided by a wall. After the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of the Germans Berlin became the capital of the country once again.
